Common Good, the nonpartisan reform coalition chaired by Center Adjunct Senior Research Scholar Philip K. Howard, recently launched Take Charge. Take Charge is a national grassroots campaign to build support for a historic overhaul of Washington. The campaign's goal is to remake government into simple frameworks that allow people to take charge again, with a focus on reducing bureaucracy and applying common sense to infrastructure, the environment, schools, obsolete law, lawsuit abuse, the economy, jobs, and healthcare.
