Center Director Edmund Phelps spoke at the NY Meetings Forum of the Council on Foreign Relations at the Harold Pratt House. His subject was the misdiagnoses by Keynesians and supply-siders of the present slump of the US economy and consequently the failure of the policy proposals under discussion to be grounded in inadequate economic theory.
